In the finishing fase of my bachelor of law I was allowed to do an internship at Van Poppel Croonen Van Dijk. During this time I was included in the close team of PCDA and I was able to develop myself in a personal and legal way.

At the office there is an open and relaxed ambiance. During my internship I felt appreciated, the PCDA team always had time for me when I had any questions. The lawyers talk with a lot of passion about their profession and they included me on the cases they were working on.

The office has a wide range of interesting clients causing a large variety of jurisdictions. Even though I was hired for a office-wide internship, I could always indicate if I wanted to deepen in a determinded jurisdiction. Because of this I developed an interest in tax law, something I had not come in contact with during my bachelor.

During my internship I could count on interesting assignments, I got the possibility to truly be of value to the office. That is how I was allowed to think along about the new Terms and Conditions of the office. Alongside I was allowed to join a court hearing multiple times and I could also join some conversations with clients. Partly because of this I now have a clear view of the legal profession. This is why I would recommend every law student to intern at Van Poppel Croonen Van Dijk.
